Green Medicine
& the Urban Garden.

Food as the first medicine, grown where you can see it. The Bryanston garden, the seasonal harvest, and the supplements that fill the gaps when the garden can't.

The philosophy.

The closer your food grows to where you eat it, the more medicine it carries. Phytonutrient density drops within hours of harvest. The cruciferous vegetables that protect oestrogen metabolism, the leafy greens that feed your mitochondria, the herbs that calm your nervous system — they are most powerful within a day of being pulled from the soil.

The Health Yourself urban garden, two minutes from the Bryanston kitchen, grows the food that goes into the Reset Packs and the workshops. The Green Medicine programme is the framework that brings the garden into your home.

What it offers.

01 · Seasonal harvest boxes

Weekly or fortnightly boxes of just-harvested produce — leafy greens, herbs, cruciferous vegetables, edible flowers, sprouts — delivered across Joburg's northern suburbs. R 480 per box (small) or R 780 per box (family). Standing orders available with 10% discount.

02 · Garden-to-table workshops

Three-hour Saturday morning sessions at the Bryanston garden. Harvest with Christine, cook together, eat what you grew. Quarterly. R 1,200 per seat, includes the meal.

03 · Practitioner-grade supplements

The supplements I prescribe regularly: magnesium glycinate, vitamin D3+K2, omega-3, methylated B-complex, NAC, ashwagandha, and a small range of others. Available at the Bryanston rooms or by appointment. Practitioner-grade quality, retail pricing.

04 · The Green Medicine cabinet (seasonal)

A curated quarterly box of garden produce + supplements + a written protocol for the season ahead. Designed for women who want the work distilled into a single quarterly delivery. R 2,400 per quarter.

Why this matters

You can take the supplements your practitioner prescribes and still miss 60% of the nutritional medicine your body needs — because most of the value is in the food, and most of the value of the food is in how recently it grew. The garden is the answer to that gap.
